Planting Seeds: A Commitment to Learning and Growth

Welcome to Planting Seeds Academic Solutions — where education meets empowerment. We believe every student has untapped potential, and our passion is helping them unlock it.

My name is Christopher Jones, and my path into education was anything but traditional. My journey began in undergrad, where I worked as a teaching assistant through a work-study program. Later, while building my career as an accountant, I continued tutoring students in my community. What began as a side passion quickly revealed the real challenges many young people face. Some struggled with poor study habits, others lacked confidence, and many were navigating unstable homes or a lack of positive role models.

I soon realized that education is about much more than test scores or grades — it’s about building self-belief, discipline, and the skills to thrive in life.

As I pursued my Master’s in business and taught at Southern Careers Institute, I witnessed similar struggles among young adults. Many were intelligent and capable, but lacked the organization, motivation, and resilience needed to succeed in a new environment. These experiences confirmed what I already knew: students don’t just need academics — they need confidence, guidance, and purpose.

The Birth & Growth of Planting Seeds

Out of these experiences, I founded Planting Seeds Academic Solutions in Austin, Texas. What started as a local tutoring and enrichment company has since expanded nationwide, serving students across multiple states through in-person classes, after-school programs, and summer camps.

Our mission has always been clear: we don’t just help students earn better grades — we cultivate lifelong learners, leaders, and difference-makers. We are committed to planting seeds of confidence, leadership, and perseverance in every student we serve. Success is measured not only in academics, but in the independence, character, and curiosity students carry into their futures.

This journey — and everything Planting Seeds has become — would not have been possible without Jesus Christ, who has kept me grounded and rooted in purpose. I live in His will, and it is through Him that this company continues to grow and impact lives.
